FISIP Udayana University Supports Kusamba MSMEs Through Value-Added Product Training.

In the spirit of sustainable community service, the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of Udayana University successfully launched a series of initiatives aimed at enhancing educational quality and providing a direct positive impact on the community of Kusamba Village, Klungkung, on Friday (24/11/2023).

The community service program, titled "Training on Added Value of MSME Products in Kusamba Village Through E-Commerce to Optimize Marketing," took place at the Kusamba Village Office. The event was attended by 35 participants, including local MSME owners and community members eager to scale their businesses.

The training featured a collaborative lineup of speakers from both academic and professional backgrounds:

  • I Wayan Dodi Putra Artawan (Junior Chamber International)

  • Dr. Putu Ayu Sita Laksmi, B.Bus., M.Se. (Lecturer at Warmadewa University)

  • Fatkur Rohman (Tokopedia)

  • Ni Nyoman Clara Listya Dewi, S.IP., M.A. (Lecturer of IR Udayana University)

Through this synergy, participants were educated on the importance of implementing digital marketing strategies. The session focused on how to increase product value and optimize presence on e-commerce platforms to reach a wider audience.

This initiative is expected to empower the people of Kusamba Village with practical knowledge of digital trade. By mastering e-commerce strategies, local MSMEs are envisioned to become more resilient and competitive, driving sustainable economic growth for the village in the future.
