FISIP Unud Students and Faculty Receive Prestigious Awards During National Education Day Celebration.

The celebration of National Education Day (Hardiknas) served as a proud moment for the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Udayana University. During the ceremony held at the Rectorate Field in Jimbaran on May 2nd, the Rectorate of Udayana University officially presented awards to several outstanding students and faculty mentors for their remarkable achievements.

These awards were granted as a token of appreciation for the dedication and hard work of the academic community in bringing honor to the university at both regional and national levels.

Exceptional Achievements from International Relations

The International Relations (IR) Study Program saw two of its students receive top honors. Farrel Yano Tonapa was recognized for his stellar performance as the Most Outstanding Delegate at the Soedirman Model United Nations 2022. This achievement was reached under the guidance of his academic mentor, A.A. Bagus Surya Widya Nugraha.

In addition, Ni Made Gita Kusuma Yanti was honored for securing 1st Place in the English Speech Competition organized by the Bali State Polytechnic (Politeknik Negeri Bali). This success further cements the reputation of IR students for excellence in diplomacy and international communication.

National Recognition for Communication Studies

The Communication Studies Program also contributed to the faculty’s accolades through Gede Adrian Maha Putra. He received an award for winning 1st Place in the National Student Speech Competition, hosted by the Public Administration Student Association of Warmadewa University. Throughout the process, Adrian was supervised by his mentor, I Dewa Ayu Sugiarica Joni, S.Sos., MA.
