Students from the International Relations (IR) Study Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Udayana University, have once again showcased their excellence internationally. Joshua Enzo (IR Class of 2020) and Farrel Yano Tonapa (IR Class of 2022) participated as delegates in the prestigious World Universities Debating Championship (WUDC).

This world-class inter-university debating competition was held in Vietnam from December 27, 2023, to January 4, 2024. WUDC is recognized as the largest and most prestigious debating tournament globally, utilizing the British Parliamentary format and bringing together thousands of debaters from top-tier universities worldwide.

The participation of Joshua and Farrel in this event is a testament to the academic quality and critical thinking skills of Unud IR students in competing on a global platform. Throughout the competition, they engaged in rigorous arguments regarding complex issues such as geopolitics, economics, and human rights, alongside delegates from various countries.

This invaluable international experience is expected to enrich the students' global perspectives and further strengthen the position of the Udayana University IR Study Program as a hub for student excellence at the international level.
