Baruna, One of the UNUD Students Who Passed the 2022 IISMA

The Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA), a flagship government program, once again opened opportunities for undergraduate students across Indonesia to participate in the 2022 selection. The program aims to provide international academic exposure and broaden students’ global perspectives.

Through a rigorous selection process, the International Office of Udayana University nominated several students to participate in the national IISMA 2022 selection. One of the successful candidates is Visvanathan Gabriel Matrix Baruna Vivekananda, commonly known as Baruna, a 2019 cohort student from the International Relations Study Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Udayana University.

Baruna’s achievement in being selected for IISMA 2022 marks a proud milestone for Udayana University, particularly for the International Relations Study Program. Through this program, he will pursue his studies at University of Warsaw, Poland, gaining valuable international academic experience.

The IISMA program provides students with the opportunity to study at leading universities worldwide, while also enriching their cross-cultural experiences, enhancing global competencies, and expanding international networks.
