LAMSPAK Benchmarking: FISIP UNUD Visits FHIS UNDIKSHA
The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of Universitas Udayana (FISIP UNUD) conducted a benchmarking visit related to LAMSPAK accreditation to the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences of Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (FHIS UNDIKSHA) on Wednesday, 4 February 2025. This activity formed part of FISIP UNUD’s strategic efforts to enhance institutional governance and academic quality, particularly in preparation for LAMSPAK accreditation.
The visit was led by the Dean of FISIP UNUD, I Nengah Punia, along with lecturers from the International Relations and Political Science Study Programs. The delegation was welcomed by the Dean of FHIS UNDIKSHA, I Nengah Suastika, S.Pd., M.Pd., and the Vice Dean II (General Affairs and Finance), I Putu Ananda Citra, S.Pd., M.Sc.
During the warm and interactive session, FHIS UNDIKSHA comprehensively presented its experience undergoing the LAMSPAK accreditation process, particularly highlighting the Library Science Study Program, which successfully achieved the “Unggul” (Excellent) accreditation status.
The presentation covered document preparation stages, strategies for meeting assessment criteria and indicators, strengthening governance structures, and best practices in drafting performance reports and self-evaluation reports.
The discussion and Q&A session became a key moment of the visit. The FISIP UNUD delegation explored various technical and substantive aspects, including challenges encountered during the accreditation process and strategies for ensuring sustained quality after obtaining the “Unggul” status. This exchange of experiences is expected to serve as a concrete reference in formulating strategic steps within FISIP UNUD.
This benchmarking activity not only provided a valuable learning opportunity but also strengthened institutional networks between faculties in advancing higher education quality. Through this initiative, FISIP UNUD reaffirmed its commitment to continuous improvement and to meeting LAMSPAK accreditation standards optimally, with the goal of achieving “Unggul” accreditation status for its study programs.
The activity concluded with a shared commitment to maintain collaboration and exchange best practices in managing high-quality and competitive higher education institutions.
